Who is First Chicago?

A member of the Warrior Invictus Group; First Chicago is building an internal auto claims platform— a complex operational tool used by call center agents and adjusters to process claims from intake to payout.

The Challenge

Building a claims application from scratch. Defining the full product experience with no existing design foundation — no design system, no established patterns.

The Role

As the Lead UX/UI Designer, defining/design the full product experience. Create a design system/foundation and establish user flow and establish design patterns.

Personal Accomplishment

Designed a scalable custom table system for the claims platform, enabling the creation of complex, configurable data tables across the product. Conducted extensive research and developed multiple prototypes before arriving at a solution that balanced technical feasibility with usability — giving the team a repeatable framework for one of the most challenging UI patterns in enterprise design.
